An editorial portrait series that uses the landscape and styling to frame Kem Kem as recognizable. We curated the wardrobe to be a saturated red against the lush greenery so that the environment could hold her as a presence rather than a subject. I used tighter portraits and wide environmental frames to sequence a story that feels textural, and echoes Kem Kem’s personality, her sense of rhythm, and position as a London artist.
